Biography:

Skurge, known as the Executioner, is a Marvel Comics character who first appeared in Journey into Mystery #103 (April 1964).

Skurge is an Asgardian warrior known for his immense strength and enchanted axe. He often found himself aligned with villainous forces, primarily Amora the Enchantress, due to his unrequited love for her.

Initially portrayed as a brute and a villain, the Executioner later underwent a significant character shift, displaying honor and courage, most notably during his heroic sacrifice to save Thor and the Asgardian children in Hel.
